No one plans to get a knocked-out or broken tooth. When you do, your first instinct is probably to rush to the dentist. And that is a good instinct. The sooner you can get to our East Longmeadow, MA office with this kind of a dental emergency, the better the odds we can save your tooth.

In an emergency, we make every effort to see you on the same day. Our office is open from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. two days a week and until 6 p.m. another day. With these extended hours, we can usually fit you into our schedule.

How We Deal with Common Dental Emergencies

Some dental emergencies we see frequently at Dores Dental include:

  • Knocked-out tooth. Dr. Dores will try to keep your tooth by reinserting it into its socket. If this isn’t an option, he can recommend a dental implant or a same-day dental bridge to replace your tooth.
  • Broken tooth. If you break or crack your tooth, Dr. Dores can repair it with a dental crown. The crown not only covers the damage but also strengthens your tooth. And because we use CEREC technology to create same-day crowns right in our East Longmeadow, MA office, you won’t have to wait for several weeks to get your crown.
  • Infected tooth. When infection sets in, it really hurts. And worse, if the infection isn’t removed, you can end up losing your tooth. Dr. Dores can perform a root canal to get the infection out of your tooth.

If the damage to your tooth is too extensive for a root canal, trusted East Longmeadow, MA dentist Dr. Dores can extract it with minimum pain.

To stay up to date on the latest techniques and dental procedures, Dr. Dores invests his time in completing continuing education courses. He holds memberships in the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Valley District Dental Society.
