Unlike old-school braces that used wires and brackets and required in-office adjustments, and special tools for cleaning, Invisalign for Teens uses clear, nearly invisible plastic aligners to discreetly straighten misaligned teeth without drawing unwanted attention to your mouth while you undergo orthodontic treatment.
This means that no one will give you horrible nicknames or gawk at your smile.
No Lifestyle Changes!
Unlike metal braces, Invisalign aligners are made to removable. You can take them out for meals, and late-night snacks and pop them back in when you are through. As such, they don’t trap food like traditional braces, so you won’t have to change your diet or avoid the foods that you love.
They won’t take over your life in the way that typical orthodontic treatment would.
Invisalign Aligners Are A Breeze To Clean
Maintenance of your Invisalign aligners is simple. There are no special tools required. You simply remove them, run them under warm water to rinse the off, and then pop them back in. It can’t get any better than that. You can also brush your teeth just like you normally would (twice a day for 2 minutes at a stretch).

The timetable all depends on the severity of the issues that we are working to correct, but Invisalign usually wraps up in about 12 months whereas metal braces would likely take 2 or more years.
